I find the high CCT surprising. Isn’t the LED anymore available in the typical AT ‘white light’ color temperature around 6000K?

It’s available in warm too. Yeah it’s quite cool for some reason.

Indeed, the Armytek Dobermann is awesome! I have the warm white version (review here). It has a throwy, but still floody enough beam with a lovely CCT and tint. Too bad it has this twisting of the head and no charging indicator.

Armytek has announced a “Max” version quite some time ago which is shown with a side switch. I can just guess that the side switch simply replaces twisting the head, but also includes a charging indicator similar to the Wizard/Prime. And 21700, of course, thus the “max”.

I rather hope that the side switch allows switching through the modes. As much as I like ATs UIs, forward clickies are not really good at chosing a mode.

Fastening the head for turbo is nice otoh.
