Hi Minos, of course we can stay here as long as we obey the rules. But since you said that you are not selling your products to the end customers directly so I doubt if you will get much business here? I believe we, or at least most of us are not flashlight distributors but a group of enthusiasts.

I visited your site, and the flashlights you’ve posted so far are pleasing to the eye. Without prices and technical performance details, we cannot estimate a Price-Performance Ratio, so they’re just pretty pictures, which don’t really interest most of us.

I beLIEve this is the definition the majority of visitors to this Forum have in mind when they read and post here. It is certainly MY foremost concern.

You seem to spend a significant amount of time worrying over whether your offers to sell flashlights will be “permitted”. If you’ll look, there are quite a few sellers here who have no problems with any of us or the Administrator of the site. This thread is already packed with EXCELLENT advice for you, but in case it was missed, I would like to point out a few Good Tips:

I think it’s a real good idea to discuss business out in the open.
If you want to be an honest seller be open to your customers. What’s the point in discussing prices in secret. If I see you have a good price, I might buy from you. If the price of your products is undisclosed, I’ll probably go to another seller with a good price.

This is what I would call “Business School 101”, meaning it should be the first thing you learn in Business School. Wanting to hide implies something you don’t like about yourself, or that you intend to discriminate against some of us based on some secret. Not a good way to build Trust!

I would only add that as you follow this Excellent Advice, you also keep the First Name of this Forum in the front of your mind: “Budget”. See above definition, please.

Again, another of our Friends has given you Excellent Advice. There are many “old sayings” that reflect this point: “By their fruits you shall know them”. “The proof of the pudding is in the eating”. “Actions speak louder than words”. You get the point. Saying “I want to be good” implies that you do not believe yourself to already be good, which diminishes any implied Trust your readers may acquire.

You may have accidentally strayed into the wrong place for your chosen method of doing business. +1 on the tip to try Alibaba, where Minimum Order Quantities will keep riff-raff like us out of your Inbox. (The corollary to that is, MOQs also keep our money out of your bank account, but that’s your Business.)
