Just today I'm gonna be out $20 for an 801 or 802 and another $30 for the Yetzl with the Xm-L
The bad part is the most of the lights I've already ordered aren't even here yet...

We've all went through it and are just as poor.
Wait until you get sucked into knives and multi-tools like I did.

Knives: a couple big ones (bowie)
and a lot of folders, including 3 Benchmades and a couple of Gerbers and CRKT.
I had a really nice Mcusa in damascus steel that I lost, I still miss that thing but jeez it had the sharpest tip of any knife I've ever seen.
The nice thing about playing with flashlights as opposed to knives, is that you don't bloody yourself with flashlights.

Personally I don't do knives - our laws are a major pain that way. Not helped by the scumbag tabloid press screaming "knife crime!!!!" and generally raising a classic moral panic. But that Spyderco one is scary expensive.
And it doesn't even emit light! ;)

I've always wanted to buy a good butterfly knife and get the demonstration down to a science; they make rubber-bladed ones just to practice with.
Always seems cool when I see someone who knows how to handle a butterfly knife.
At my age, I'd probably just make a *bloody* fool of myself showing off.
I grew up in the Philippines and everyone had at least 1 butterfly knife. I used to be able to play with 2 knives (1 in each hand) at the same time. They are really fun to play with but here's a bit of advice: if you are a beginner, make sure you start off with a single edge butterfly knife. Trust me on this.
Scary! That's a good word for it and most likey why I'm having a hard time justifying it. I could get five or six nice lights for what that Spyderco costs. If I can keep it out of my shopping cart for another week or so I just might be able to resist. I think the key is to find some lights to distract myself with.
Me too, exactly the same! When on highschool, I was always carrying two butterflies , one for each hand and even managed to throw correctly the right-hand one for 50% of the time (yes... I know... but back then it felt great 
). At the age of 16-17, I was carrying seven knives on average every day... And of course were and are completely illegal in my country... But, youth, what can you do...
Any chance of some video to show us how? As long as it won't involve blood.
I'll have to order me a couple butterfly knives and practice a bit.
Good luck. Last time i played with a knife i cut myself badly. Clumsiness? Perhaps, but severe lack of luck and misjudgement was heavily involved.
I just need to practice a lot so I won't lose another finger.
Just joking.....I have all 12 fingers.
