Image Boss! (no politics, no sexy pics) Have fun. ❤️

Odd works fine in firefox?

That’s what I got, and on 2 separate machines.

Ad-banner sprawled across the bottom that runs off the right side of the viewport (ie, no way to it out), small menu-banner that runs right across the middle of the screen, something definitely f’ed up.

Typical of newer garbage-sites, though. They might look fine on 1 browser and only up to 2 versions back, and anyone else is SOL.

Not at all like Ye Olde Dayes where people used to actually give a $#|+ about their sites, and would tweak sites/pages to actually look good (let alone just work at all) across multiple browsers, and even (horrors!) “degrade gracefully” if this or that was missing (really old versions of browsers, js off, etc.).

Ahhhhh I see! I have adblock plus and don’t get any of that!

I had abp on pretty much everything, but it ended up being such a dog on startup that when an “upgrade” blew it away, I left it off.

Even worse were the annoying sites that would piss’n’moan, “Boohoo, you’re using an ad-blocker, turn it back on or we won’t let you use our site”. F’em…

The problem is finding a single picture that shows a place off.
So I didn’t.

Let’s Live out the Zombie Apocalypse in style.

How about:

The Diefenbunker is a massive four-story underground bunker, built between 1959 and 1961. During the Cold War, top officials were to take shelter here in the event of a nuclear war. It was active as Canadian Forces Station Carp until 1994. They even have virtual tours of the place. And they publish the address now…

Particularly liked Jeff’s luxury bunker, but it’s gonna go to Souichirou for the bunker under the shed!
Take it away! :+1:

The “mole people” living in a sewer under Bucharest’s biggest train station.

Sorry I’m late, Lets see “Internet” brand products you might consider buying or have bought ! Personally got these waterproof shoes by Vessi and like them more than I thought I would.

Bragi sold the first “True wireless earbuds” - the Dash series. Sadly they no longer manufacture hardware products.
They were at least 3 years ahead in the game, to this day I still can’t find a replacement that has IPx8 + surround sound pass-through.

TROLL vibration speaker

Bought it on a whim from a crowd-funding site. It’s almost unreal what the resonance effect does when the speaker is placed on a regular internal wall of the house. Wooden or glass table tops work best, but even a door produces sound in a way that’s completely surprising for something that size.

What are “Internet” brand products?

Sorry, I should have clarified more. “Internet” brands I mean things that don’t have a physical store presence in the retail sense, BUT have ads on youtube, instagram, facebook, twitter etc kind of like the old school “As seen on TV” products that aired commercials.

Hmmm…. Atlas Survival Shelters, you can order one from the internet, and I am pretty sure there are no “physical store presence” for these.

Ah, my retirement home.

 given how things go in 2020, one might want to get it sooner

In America, over a billion dollars worth of corn was destroyed by a storm in 20 minutes.

A corn farmer commented that 2020 has become a four letter word.
