There many reviews about Imalent DM21, I have make a complete review in spanish Imalent DM21 review . But I have not read here about a runtime graph for see the regulation. Here some information;

I add here my runtime graph and some Pics of new version of HMD10, beams comparing DM21, DM20 and others Tactical compact 18650 flashlights.

First: about power on highest mode and lowest mode, the Rev 1 of DM series (I have received one DM20 with improvements) have a low mode very usable, here the, comparison in previous version and this:

Now runtime graph using a battery 18650 2600 mA (like the battery included on my kit).
After 10 minutes, I connected a small fan (temperature on head were 60º Celsius):

About Holster HMD10, Imalent added a pair of screw heads, the flashlight is now held more strongly:
left old version, right Rev1 version

Charging one 18650 inside the flashlight i have get a good speed charge (at least initially):

Here Beam at lowest power of DM21(old version) Vs lowest mode of DM20 (Rev1 version)

Thanks for the runtime chart! Very handy.

I was hoping for flatter regulation than that. Oh well, I mainly got this for the funky UI :bigsmile:

really is not a bad regulation, flashlight starts with about 900 lumens and in 30 minutes is around 80% of initial value…I think that others that have a step at 3 or 5 minutes not have really better regulation than this (other runtime lines has really sharp drop with his steps)

Hmm, good point. But how would the regulation be at say 50% or so? Is it possible for you to test that?

fortunately you do a great job - so i just have to point out the differences between the new DM21 and the new Holster :smiley:

What brightness does it start out on? Is it possible to set brightness using the rotary tab before turning it on?

Is it possible to use a clip along with the holster?

I don’t have the optional Imalent clip, but I have used the Nitecore P10 clip with my DM21 and fits ok and is capable for the HMD10.

Yes is like a magnetic ring. You preset your desired position and turn on…

The Kit deluxe and the simple version of flashlight seems will include this Nylon hoster. But not will be included in the Simple Kit

(I love my Rev 1 Imalent, the initial batch is very sensitive and not like, but with the new lockout function, that is avaliable with flashlight on or off, now I love it).
