So i built an Integrated Lux/Lumen Sphere, for measuring the light output of lights for reviews and comparisons. ( i will post photos soon of the “device”)
but now it needs a name.
I believe its Tom-E has his named “sphere of many mysteries” or someone ?
I though about “Sputnik” or “White Hole” or “Light Singularity” or something. I built the measuring unit to have a control of measuring the output of Flashlights, for reviews, etc.
Also i am building a “beam/spot intensity” measuring rig, for a controlled measurement of flashlights (especially throwers) set at a 1-Meter reflective distance of the throw/beam spot, to test all my lights and review lights, to even maybe establish a new testing benchmark for how we see the reflected beam brightness/intensity of flashlights beams. ( this jig is based off from a Laser intensity measuring device i seen, but adopted and built for the in-coherent light of flashlights and spotlights.
Photos of the rigs to come soon, but for now i’m looking for names for them.
“Device” brings to mind “The gadget” (Manhattan project) .
How about “beam bag” 
i hope not to open a 3rd Dimension though.
