This week the ISS has several good evening passes visible to most of the US east coast. Plus, the SpaceX “rescue mission” is scheduled to launch so you might be able to see them close together. I use heavens-above.com for accurate predictions but there are many other sites. It usually is brighter when you are on the sunlit side which means after it peaks in the evening.
Below are to rough maps. The first one is for Thursday the 13th and the second is Friday the 14th. You can be a fair distance from the line and still see it. For scale - the first pass would be at 47º high for Philadelphia
