Intova IFL-660 Waterproof Diving Torch

Howdy!

As I mentioned earlier, a friend gifted me with this Intovatech IFL 660 Torch. It’s listed as waterproof to 400 feet, and has a magnetic side-slide switch. It would probably tail-stand if you took off the lanyard. They can be had for under 60USD, but I don’t want that.

Wanted: Any interesting trade, DEAD OR ALIVE.

I’d actually rather have a dead host so I could have an interesting place for some of these “extra” parts I’ve ordered over the years.

So for the cost of postage, you could trade your dead one for this. Within reason, of course. PM me or reply to this thread if you’re interested.

Anybody just want it for kicks?

Just trying to find a Good Home for a decent torch.

Shame to waste a good light… Do you use CR123s?

The Intova website isn’t loading for me, but I’m thinking maybe you can try 16340 cells? Not sure how the light will handle the extra voltage, but I think it should be fine because it has a buck driver.

Not having any, I can’t say for sure. To be fair, it’s an excellent point, since their web page (if you get to load it) says this:

I know that makes it less interesting, but there it is.

I try to only use rechargeables, keep some primaries for emergencies.
