I need a pocketable/EDC 21700 light to replace my Wurkkos FC13 (which is almost perfect but feeds on 18650 batteries). It needs to have: Anduril UI, a reasonably modern MCU like the AT1616 or AVR32DD20, easily accessible flashing pads, and USB charging and powerbank aka reverse-charging functionality. Having good throw while maintaining a usable flood (like the OP reflector in the FC13) is appreciated but not strictly necessary.

The Lumintop D3 is the closest I found, but it lacks at least the easily accessible flashing pads.

Any recommendations?

Thanks for the detailed rundown. It sounds like you know exactly what you’re after. From our current lineup, the Lumintop D3 is likely your best match. It runs Anduril, supports USB-C charging, takes 21700 cells, and offers a good balance of throw and flood.

If power bank functionality is essential, I’ll let you know when we stock something that meets those criteria.

That’s what I was worried about. I like updating my lights, and disassembling the whole thing and putting a SOIC clip into the MCU just so I can flash a new version of Anduril on it, is not my idea of having fun :-/ That’s why easily accessible flashing pads are important to me.

I think I’ll just hold on to my FC13 until a suitable replacement is available.

Thanks for your response anyway, even if it’s not what I was hoping to hear – and thanks in advance for offering to let me know when something suitable shows up.
