I assume the stated throw of 500 meters is only valid on dry land, and not under water :wink:

Yeah, water ‘eats’ light, starting with red. At 100 FEET there is essentially no red/orange/yellow from the surface at all.
I haven’t been to 1500 METERS, but there would likely be very little surface light left.

A ridiculous claim is [Underwater photographers can use it to set up a movie-studio-like scene].
The light has a pretty narrow beam, which CAN be useful in a lot of situations. Of itself that is not a bad characteristic.
Most movies are kind of ‘wide angle’. Imagine watching a play in an extremely dark theater being stage lit with this light. It would be highly unsatisfactory.
Marketing seems put together by someone or a team knowing very little about actual scuba diving.
Might be a fine light if you want a narrow beam.

I’ll get the excited after I see people on YouTube testing it.

Many manufacturers make claims about both waterproofness and runtime but when I watch people on YouTube most lights end up getting water intrusion in the first hour at less than 3 feet of water. Even $300 lights

When I see the runtime tests on zeroair and 1 lumen reviews, it turns out the can only stay on high for 10 minutes.

I don’t care about what the light is capable of on maximum brightness for 10 seconds to no more than 3 minutes.

I wanna know what’s the highest brightness the light can hold without thermal stepdown and for how long.
