It originally debuted for $76 and is selling for $53 this week. I actually think it's one of the nicest single 18650 lights to hit the market. Ever since it's debut I wanted one.

That is a very nice light for the price. But you may want to think about this one with a lot bigger head and more lumen output. And it comes with a extension tube to take 2 18650 batteries.

I don't think I'm hardcore enough to justify buying this light. If I was going for looks then I'd snatch this up in a heartbeat. I think it's a freakin awesome looking light. But there are cheaper, brighter SF options and they still look good (new L2P or L2T). I don't buy SF for the LED's. They're a flashlight host and accessories company for me, with the exception of the MPP series.
The M8 also looks like a great light and appears to have come down in price a little, but it's in a different category with the larger reflector (similar to TF X9). If I was going for throw than I'd probably just upgrade to the M8. The M6 has it's own purpose, which sits more in the tactical group.

BUT the L2T host , shipping and dropin is $37 !! whats another $20 if you like it ...
the kicker is the UI , current regulated and it legos , and input voltage is 2.7- 9V!!!! christmas season starts early this year , tempting but i am saving my pennies for a glock

I prefer the regular with forward clicky, i do swap tail switches from my L2 and L2T when I'm in the mood for a reverse clicky. I also could not find any vids, that might be a hint on why the price drop...no one bought any. lol.

Be careful about price differences between that and the forward clicky version. They raised the price $2 for a light package with a switch that costs $2 less than the forward clicky. You're effectively paying $4 more for the reverse clicky model. That seems strange since they're basically just pulling parts from stock anyway. They can just lego their own lights together so pricing should logically remain constant. That's why it might make sense to just get the forward clicky model and purchase a reverse switch additionally. Then you get a $7.50 forward switch for $3.50 (compared to purchasing the reverse model). This, of course, assumes the original L2T isn't on some limited promotion of some kind.
The "new" reverse clicky has to be the same matte black as the body i would think. So I suppose you wouldn't be able to buy a matte black switch separately.
I figured it's gotta be this switch. I just don't see how they can justify the added expense of making a reverse switch specifically for this newer offering when they already sell a matte black reverse switch as an add on. I get the feeling they're merely screwing on the switch for me, haha.
I'm thinking the same thing. Its all about making the extra dollar.

Where’s the modding spirit, for $30 I’m in cause that light’s bout as gorgeous as they come. I’ve hotrodded the M3, M8, and Skyline very successfully, M6 looks no different. They got their Z-series at a decent price too.
