Convoy C8+ seems to be a common recommendation and I can go with that. Just checking to see if there’s anything in the 21700 format because I’m trying to move my collection in that direction. TY!
M21A is the 21700 version of the C8, and there’s also the L21B.
Incidentally, I happen to have a beamshot of the L21B with the SST20-DR (on the right):
You might find this desirable over the C8/M21A because deep red is really, really dim, especially when green foliage strongly absorbs this color.

Thanks, yes, I’m looking to maximize throw with the dim SST20-DR. So it looks like the L21B is the light to beat. Plus it’s available in green camouflage, so that fits the theme of the light for quick visual identification of its purpose.

Might be a hard emitter to find! Also I think it’s a 630nm type orange-red, which might make a difference from deep red for OP’s use.
If OP is ok with orange-red, Osram KR CULPM1.23 will throw a hell lot harder than any deep red emitter.
