I’m currently looking for an RGB flood light that can mix colors for ambient lighting during pictures and videos.
If it’s RGBW it would be a plus, but not necessary.
Are there any of these that uses 18650s? If not, what are some recommended rechargeable ones?
I’ve been trying to search Aliexpress, Banggood and eBay for these, but I can only find RGB zoomies and 220v/12v flood lights.
If all else fails I might just mod a 12V RGB flood light with 18650 batteries and a DC/DC converter, however it wouldn’t have LVP unless it cuts out at around 3V.
Cheers.
EDIT: These from Banggood are the closest I’ve come to a good RGBW light, they allegedly have >95CRI cold and warm white LEDs. Might buy a couple and try them out, and use an 18650 battery bank with it instead.
Thanks for the link to the light on Banggood. I don’t know of any offhand that use replaceable cylindrical batteries like 18650s, but if you like the Banggood light the Pixel G1s is similar but larger with more battery capacity while still being able to run off a power bank using a Type C connector (both A-C and C-C), and is available on Amazon. It works well as a photo or camping light, has adjustable color temperature in white mode as well as being fully RGB. It also has cool fun modes like the Anduril modes (candlelight, etc.), and is well built. I got one a couple of weeks ago and bought another one right away since the build quality and usability were much higher than a similar GVM light I’d gotten last year.
The downside is it’s three times expensive as the one you linked, but only seems to have twice the size and battery capacity.
