Is there any knife brand which is similar to Convoy in flashlights?

Why in the world would you intentionally buy a clone?? Particularly a Kershaw clone, Kershaw’s are cheap as it is!! Why support a clone when you can get the real, and morally correct version for a few bucks more. My god.

There’s no need to get upset over this.
Lots of people buy knife clones, and they’re perfectly aware of your position on the issue.
Also, this is BLF where people buy flashlight clones all the time.

Anyway, I was mostly looking at the ZT 0350 clones, which are a fraction of the price of a real ZT 0350.
According to ChatGPT, there are knives that are not clones that are quite similar to the ZT 0350, though I don’t know how expensive they are. :money_mouth_face:

For starters, some of the models have been discontinued and are no longer made by Kershaw.

But if we’re launching an anti-clone movement, there are a lot of flashlight buyers on here you’ll need to get the message out to as well.

I just ordered this for a bit less than $10 (using the $2 off coupon).

For some unknown reason, the price went up after I placed my order. :man_shrugging:
I think this is the first knife clone that I’ve bought.
I did win a knife clone on BLF years ago, and that clone really impressed me.
I’ve always wanted a ZT knife, but I think that they’re overpriced, so maybe I’ll like this clone. :kitchen_knife:

Even if they get everything else right, the supposed “D2” steel may be a let down compared to what ZT uses. The S30V on the real ZT with a good heat treatment will be a much better steel than some Chinese questionable D2. Whether that is worth the price difference is all about how much of a steel junkie you are. Plus what you want to do with the knife. I hope you enjoy the knife though!

:+1: By the way, this discussion of knife clones is technically off-topic, which isn’t usually a problem on BLF.
I would create a thread devoted to knife clones, but it would just attract negative attention.

I received this Zero Tolerance 0350 clone today.
I got the one with an army green handle.
Although the knife is advertised as having the equivalent of a 3" blade, I’m happy to report that the blade is 3.25", which is a big difference in my opinion.
(A 3" blade is a bit too small for me.)
The G-10 handle doesn’t have a very nice texture.
Also, the clip is too stiff.
That said, the build quality is about as nice as the best real Kershaw, SanRenMu, Land, Enlan, and Ganzo knives.
The blade says “S30V” but the AE listing says “D2.”
The blade is not centered (it touches one side), and the blade is a fingerprint magnet.
The knife has a nice heft to it.
Overall, I like the knife, and it seems to be pretty good for a clone.

I got this really cheap during Black Friday discounts. Feels really good at hand, and it is really really really sharp. I recommend it without any doubt. (Morakniv Companion).

Yes. I have a couple of the Mora knives. Great inexpensive utility knives. One of the ones I have has a fire tarting flint in the handle…clever!
