I have not been able to find out if the stars on the stock driver actually do anything… Has anyone tried jumpering them? I am looking for a hidden moonlight mode. I have not disassembled and tested yet, just got it today and could not find the answer…

Haven’t found anything via the search function so far…
I haven’t tried connecting the Stars but instead I swapped the driver with one that has ML mode. Have you considered that option?
I’m really just curious, haven’t needed a moonlight mode much.
Although I’m tempted to swap the driver to get a little higher currents…
That’s exactly why I did it. While it’s plenty bright with the 2.1~ amp driver, I found myself not using it much since I had similar options that were brighter. Now it’s in my EDC rotation again.
I think I’ll ask Jaxman about the driver and report back here.
