I just ordered some of the aqua blue acrylic glow paint.
they were easy to work with… I placed an order for powder, changed my mind and was able to cancel by chat…
I got instant confirmation of refund and reordered, but as paint…
they are located just one state away, I think this is going to be fun…
Ive always wanted my fingernails to glow in the dark… LOL!
on a more serious note… I might paint some on my glasses earpieces… I often cant see them on the nightstand…
another plan is to paint some around the tailpost of a TCR-1…

Sunwayman also has Aluminum versions with tailswitch… here are some Im selling.

I have the original ti version ,all way wished it could be turned off more securely

I added thicker grease to the control ring, makes it hold firmly where the dial is turned to, including Off.
I’ll give that a go ,thx
The lube I like for this purpose is Nyogel 767a
Unfortunately, the only way I know of, to change the grease on the control ring, requires a complete disassembly.

I think a stronger spring or stretch the existing one just a bit,would achieve that Moe positive detent.,Kelly

I agree it is not recommended to try to open the light, it is easy to damage the driver wires
I agree the detente spring is very weak. I can understand your wishing it was stronger.
