I purchased these 2 flashlights without any particular expectations at a truly incredible price, for this reason I thought I was dealing with numbers that I did not believe to be real and instead I was nothing short of amazed, I still do not have precise numbers but I can anticipate that the version with SFT40 compared with my Manker MK38 with the same LEDs it has practically equaled its performance, they look like a photocopy of the other, the only difference is that the JKK76 costs 3 times less! The same thing happened for the version with SFN55.2, compared with IMALENT MS08 it outclassed it in terms of lumens emission. I will share and also in this case it costs 3 times less! I think we have found some new world champions of value for money.

It would be the champ if there wasn’t a 60+ markup for not speaking chinese, but you can throw your money at them if you like. Maybe the next light you want will have a 90 markup. How exciting!

Well the mk38 with sft40 is priced at $374usd and the jkk76 with sft40 is at $100usd is the value shot.
But I think when these were first released on tb they drop at about $65usd but are now around $93usd so for sure kd isn’t making much profit on these but they are the only other place to have them. So far.

The markup is not too bad, the SFT40 version sells for 598 CNY = 90.49 USD and the SFN55.2 version sells for 538 CNY = 81.41 USD.
The markup is about the same as Convoy and less than that of Emisar. The cost of shipping and solving problems go up when they are dealing with international customers. Also keep in mind that currency conversion and credit card fees are another 4% or so. Unionpay fees in China are much lower than credit card fees in the United States. Finally, when margins are low as they are for Jin Heng products, they also have to worry about exchange rate fluctuations eating into their margins. For example, if the Renminbi appreciates suddenly against the dollar, they could be selling at a loss.
I have quite a few Jin Heng lights (see my past posts) and they are definitely some of the best deals around.

That Emisar markup is definitely the worst. And they don’t even have built-in charging, so annoying. It’s why I never buy hank lights after the D18.
Meanwhile this JKK76, im considering buying both versions
Received my Lishen 21700HP (the one that is used in Nightwatch Chaos to push nearly 30k initial and 3 seconds 26k lumens thereabouts), fully charged them and got 26k lumens on my JKK76 6500k SFN 55.2
Just very very slightly lower than the Samsung 40T that i bought from Jinheng as a package (though no way of verifying if this is legit, cant do cell impedance test and i am not a battery pro etc).
The Lishen 21700LA is lower, recharging them again now to get a second reading.
Note, springs are already bypassed with rolled up aluminum foil and wrapped around them springs, so it’s already as optimised as it can be. Not the best way i know, but i can’t find my soldering iron + solder + flux etc. I did ensure i used a fair amount of rolled up foil and wrapped around all 3 springs. I don’t think a proper bypass would yield any significant improvement in reality.
Coz these lights are supposed to be drive drive in Turbo.
I am very confident that this does not get to 33k, Still it is a rather ok performer for well over 20k and able to hold above that for 30s ANSI esp for those in colder environments. Last time it was cheaper by 17% on TB, a bit of a bummer but it is what it is.
But one thing good about the JKK76 is that this is among the rare lights that sustains above 20k lumens ANSI (30 secs) comfortably at such a low price, and is available at 3000k. And the SFN 55.2 still can throw, make no mistake, touches 300m in city lights environment absolutely no issue.
My 3000k SFN 55.2 came, it’s rather yellow (more yellow that say my 3000k Philips LED lights), but a ceiling bounce still is pretty comfortable to look at, at first level (forgot the lumens). 2nd level is still ok, but 3rd and 4th power level is a bit artificial due to the high lumens output.
Blasting at turbo at 3000k on buildings/trees/real world is a whole new experience. Very difference feeling vs high lumens 5000k to 6500k.
There are other budget chinese flashlights at 3000k, like dongfang etc……but none can do 20k. I also have the Amutouch DM70 but no 3000k options.
There is no usd65 / rmb 428 first-launched price on taobao nowadays. The lowest i could find is rmb 500 after coupons or 76usd, not from Jinheng seller tho.
Consolidated shipping is another usd 4 (700g without batteries) or so but that’s to my country, where the official TB “freight forwarder” does service (3rd party FF is a fair bit more expensive). Then add 3% TB platform fee. In my country and using TB app, there is literally no CC fees, coz i pay in SGD and not rmb….even if there is and i missed it, it’s definitely much lower than say 4%.
Jinheng on TB charges rmb 538 and not rmb 500, due to the high demand. I messaged the fella and he said he is constantly ordering the parts/components needed to make/assemble the light.
Looks like an ok price for international customers. I believe the shipping is inclusive also, assuming that the international air mail route is ok for you. I know for some countries this could be risky, it’s definitely not like Aliexpress standard shipping.
Charged up the Samsung 40T (the ones that TB jinheng is selling) and did the test again, also got the same level. 26k lumens.
Basically side by side with the Lishen 21700HP.
I paid rmb 78 for 3pcs of 40T from TB jinheng when i was getting the light also, and rmb 45 for the Lishen 21700HP.
edit - the lishen 21700HP and lishen 21700LA are from TB nightwatch. (there are a couple of other sellers but i cannot verify authenticity)

When you talk about the markup of Emisar, what are you comparing it to? Apart from their website and JLHawaii, where else can you buy them from in China?
Hank just reopened his Taobao store with actual listings. It used to be just a payment platform where you email him what you want and you pay with Alipay on Taobao.
For example, the base price of his dual channel D4s is ¥328 = $49.63 on Taobao, while it’s $64.89 on his website. The international markup is 30% which is not unreasonable. However, it is higher than the Jin Heng JKK76 as I pointed out.
Thank you for that, I remember searching for it on taobao (more than once) several months ago and couldn’t find anything. So I have always just ordered from his official website and had him ship them to China.
By the way, right now you can get a Wurkkos TS30S with SBT90.2 and Anduril for just 292 CNY = 44 USD. I still haven’t pulled the trigger because I have enough lights but this is the cheapest SBT90.2 light I’ve ever seen.
