Just ordered a Sofirn IF25A

My youngest son really liked the IF22A that I just got, so I gave it to him and bought the IF25A to replace it for myself.

I have been trying to find some comments on the IF25A but I could only find a few reviews that were in depth. Does anyone have some up to date comments that they would mind sharing with me?

This is my 7th flashlight that I have bought in the last few weeks and the 5th sofirn. I have just found some good deals and couldn’t resist them. I am now a flashlight junkie.

I have a Convoy C8 plus from lumencraft coming tomorrow and the insides for my Convoy C8 M21A will be here in a couple of weeks or less and I will be ready for my first flashlight build.

My impression of the IF25A is it is too big for pocket carry and too small for sustaining outputs like default top of ramp.

I got the same impression from some reviews but it will do what I need it do. I got the Convoy C8 plus and the Convoy that I’m going to try and build for the longer jobs that I might have. Thanks for the input.

The IF25A should be part of every flashlight collection. Does it have an unique purpose, not really. Its a powerful quad at a low price. Who doesn’t like that.

Yeah I was drawn to it and I needed a replacement after giving my son the IR22A.

I have one. I don’t use it anymore, just got other things I like better, but its fine. No magnet in the tailcap is really annoying.

I have the Anduril v.1 version. One of my favorite lights. Sits on my coffee table 24/7 just like this:

Thanks. That’s pretty cool. I have dove head first into flashlights. I didn’t know that they could be modified until I saw a post about it on BLF. My empty flashlight (Convoy C8 MA21) got here last week and now I’m waiting for the emitters and drivers.

Thanks. I like the magnets in the tail cap but it is not a deal breaker for me.

What is the best way to learn how to use the UI? Is there a download or something like that?

Itll be easier to do when you have it. I find it easiest to see it just typed out. The chart is too much for me. ToyKeeper’s website has it just typed out, I generally use that. Personally. You don’t need to memorize how to do everything btw

Thanks. Your right, I don’t need to memorize it nor do I want to. I have decided which mode that I want and I’m going to set it and forget it.

What is toykeepers website? Is it toykeepers.com or something else?

I use this one https://toykeeper.net/torches/fsm/anduril2/anduril-manual.txt
