While I was at work last night, I left my flashlight gear on the table and told my family not to touch. Well, apparently one of my dogs didn’t listen. My 32mm noctigon with triple XP-L’s must have looked like a dog biscuit. When I got home it was missing off the table. Looked and looked and found it in the corner. My dog is a great at flashlight modding because he was able to dedome all 3 LED’s. Note to self, gas or heat is not needed….just dog saliva and teeth. I tested it for a split second direct to a battery and only one lights up. I thought about buying just the led’s to replace it but the whole thing is only a couple bucks more. Just blows that I already sanded the mcpcb to fit the heatsink and already drilled holes to screw it down.
my dog ate my 18650's that i had in the car bagged up to go to the Home Depot recycling box .
Seems I put taped up cells in an old plastic bag that had a food smell still on it . I saw batteries and torn up plastic bag all over the floor of the car .
it was pretty scary to see bite marks on 18650's :P
i'm guessing she didn't eat one since she hasn'r blowed up yet .
I'll see you and raise you. My dad accidentally forgot one of these in the lion enclosure at our Zoo. When we got it out, it looked like it was run over by a truck.
Great looking pair of Rhoadies. Neither look guilty [much]. Thankfully no ill effects, parts are replaceable, pets not so much. BTW, what are your dogs’ names?
