KD (kaidomain): Deals and new products thread

Hey Banl

can you sell these side switches please.

i need some

http://www.kaidomain.com/p/S027430.HX-22mm-5V-12V-2_6A-4-Mode-Driver-Circuit-Board-for-Bike-Light

Any one know the output voltage for this driver?

i suspect it’s a boost driver but unsure

It looks to me like a buck driver not a boost driver.

Wide range of input specially suited for bike light.

Hi friend

I had uploaded the user manual for S20 flashlight.

See if you have any question, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you

Ban

Hi Nicolicous

This is a buck driver.

It is suitable for using CREE XM-L series LED.

Thank you

Ban

Thanks!

I posted it in the S20 thread. Ultratac S20

Hello!

Mmm, feeling a bit uneasy right now, set a small Kaidomain order on Mar 18th with registered mail as a plus in hopes for it to reach home a bit sooner, but absolutely no news yet despite having sent email to sales@kaidomain.com and a private message to BanL. Requested cancellation for it to be added to a larger order since I now need some high voltage laptop batteries, but…

Cheers

Anyone able to add things to a cart? 3 browsers and none of them working with the site! I am trying to purchase these as donor shells and can’t!

I would really like to look these over, look like an actual improvement to the old P60 dropin.

I have no problem here. The cart is working fine.

FX6 driver http://www.kaidomain.com/p/S025265.New-FX6-22mm-6V-8_4V-5A-2-Groups-of-4…

- Is it come with spring if not what spring size need ?

  • What is “Support Cree XHP50 LED by taking out resistor” mean and which resistor ? I want to use with XHP50.2 what happen if I don’t remove resistor ?

mattlward, both those drop-ins went into the cart fine for me too.

I’ve also been thinking of using those for a build shell.

By taking out resistor R120, it reduces the output current to 3A Max.
Leaving the resistor in the output current is as specified at 4.5-5A Max.

Cree specs:
XHP50.2…3A Max
XHP70.2…4.8A Max

As far as I know you can over drive an XHP50.2 beyond the Cree specs at 4.5-5A, it will be brighter but be aware it will create more emitter heat.

There dosen’t appear to be a spring with it which is unusual, and no specs on the base diameter of the spring if it’s not included, hopefully BanL will chime in here and tell us the answer on that. You could also try message them through their site.

Thanks beam0 I’m also PM to BanL …

Anyone push XHP50.2 to 5A is it too much for L2 ?
Right now I used Sofirn C8A/T driver +XPL HI in 1S and got something like 130L/180KCD but consider to change
-FX6+XHP50.2 2S at 5A or may be
-H2C+XHP35 with resistor mod to 2-2.5A
Any suggestion ?

XHP50.2 is a sensitive led, so it appears in use. On a DTP board it can easily take 5A and quite a bit more too, but with certain drivers they die anyway at much lower currents.

I had a XHP50.2 die with the H1-A driver from Kaidomain. I have no idea about electronics, but it may be voltage spikes? If it is something in the boost circuit of the H1-A you may be fine with the FX6 because it is not a boost driver.

Thanks djozz

Ok guys and gals… I ordered 2 of the new P60 dropins on 4/30 and they arrived today! I ordered both of the 219C 4000K CRI92 dropins. I ordered 1 SMO and 1 OP with the intent of taking them apart and using the shells for other builds… Not going to happen! The SMO is one of the cleanest P60 that I have seen, one ring on the outer portion of the beam and a faint one about mid beam. The OP is a super smooth beam!

I wish it had moonlight, but low on it is pretty good.

I could not recommend these more as a stock dropin and the delivery time was great, 22 days.

Thanks BanL!

Great news, thanks for the feedback, how’s the brightness output?

Also just to clarify, these can be taken apart to use as a shell, but I assume you mean they’re too nice (as is) to cannibalize?

They can be taken apart, but I hate to because they actually are the smoothest beamed Nichia P60 I have seen. My builds are always ringy as hell in a SMO dropin with the 219’s. I assume that it a perfected pairing of the centering ring and the reflector design.

I am not sure that they are 800 lumens, but if not they are damn close!

At 3A, they should be about 800 lumens, so yes

Only rated at 2.2 amps, have not checked draw yet. It is close… that is all I can say.
