A friend of mine told me he wanted some “big” magnet. I've found this…
If I remember correctly, for a slightly smaller rectangular one a “Remove all metal objects within a 5 foot radius before unpacking” warning was stated.
Can't find a review of it on HKJ's webpage, so I was wondering.
The unit is reported to slow down/stop water meters. ANTONIO claims “it doesn't completely stops the (water) meter's needle but I believe it is best for it to be this way”. I also agree, lol.
Cheers ^:)
P.S.: the OP's Dorayaki is about 6'86Kg/15'12lb if we consider Ne2Fe14B density to be ≈7'4g/cm³.
P.S.2: I also wonder what kind of package size and box warnings the lads at APEX Magnets are supposed to arrange for that stuff.
Check out this recent story… :person_facepalming: :smiling_imp:
“A man in Guangdong province, southern China had to be rescued by a team of firefighters and medics after accidentally clamping powerful magnets onto his genitals, crushing his scrotum.
According to Southern Metropolis Daily the 45-year-old was attempting to apply magnetic therapy for a prostate issue when the powerful magnets accidentally locked together, effectively sandwiching his genitals…”
I’m not sure how much it would affect digital meters, but I’m sure it would affect the older styles with the dials. It would be interesting to see this tested.
