:star: :star: :star: :star: :star: New Product Release: FT12 Filters for XT12GT :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Dear XT12GT Flashaholics,

How long time you’ve been wishing to own a Red, Green or Blue Filters when hunting, hiking, fishing, crossing in foggy area?

No need to wait any more, here comes your helper ===>>> the FT12 Filters

FT12 Filters for the Klarus rechargeable tactical flashlight XT12GT(Bezel around 45mm) are developed and designed to extend the opportunities of flashlight usage and make your devices multifunctional and more efficient. You will get a wider beam that covers large area and provides perfect light for camping lighting and indoor usage with these diffusers. With such filters, the flashlights will be better suitable for close actions, reading, items search etc. Color filters are mainly used in tactical lighting.

The Red Filter has a larger number of applications. Used for emergencies, caution and hunting to not spook game, great for penetrating fog or smoke. Some animals can’t see red light so it’s good for night hunting and is good for map reading because it doesn’t disturb night vision. Flashlights with red filters are also widely used for signage.

The Green Filter is suitable for hunting, hiking and tactical use as a beam of green light can’t be seen from aside and doesn’t disturb a game. Green light is also very popular for night time map reading and covert operations because it does not disrupt night vision.

The Blue Filter is widely used for night fishing, tracking wounded game, and close reading as well as navigation devices. Blue light is also perfect for reading chart and maps.

Besides compatible with Klarus rechargeable tactical light XT12GT, F12 Filters also compatible with bezels size around 45mm.

Dear Klarus-team,
why you don`t offer a white FT12 diffusor ? Thats what I surching for.

Greets
Carsten

Hello, Carsten, we will make a POLL with GIVEAWAYS for XT12GT, pls notice our news, thanks.

The Penlight P20 looks like a really nice light, but…you talk about it being used as a light for medical exams, and I highly doubt that anyone will use a light that starts in High for that purpose since the majority of the time a lower level of light will be used for that purpose. I think that Low-Medium-High would be a much better UI for that purpose.

+1.

hello, DBSS, thanks a lot for your good advice, will forward it to our R&D team ASAP.
Additionally, the Penlight P20 will automatically recall the mode after every switch, the last mode before off will be automatically entered into when on after 3seconds. Best regards! Klarus

Hello,

I got a problem with a Klarus G35.

I cant find the service topic anymore.

I got this light for review and I probably damaged the driver somehow when doing a tardown.

Its only giving 8V to the LED after I reassembled the light.

Dont know if it was heating the light up to remove the head the tube near the driver got about 130°C hot, but that should usually cause no damage.

I am willing to pay for a replacement driver.

I can second that because that is almost exactly what a friend in the local fire department said.

DBSS is exactly right in my opinion. Low-Medium-High is the only thing that makes sense to me. Personally I hate mode memory. I want to know exactly what mode my light is going to turn on with every time. To me the only mode that makes sense to start in is low. You can always bump it up very quickly to a brighter setting but the moment is lost if you’ve just blasted your night vision away by a light that started in high. It really makes the other modes nearly pointless in many situations.

I do respect the quality I see in Klarus lights but some serious rethinking needs to be done concerning your UI layouts. I only own one Klarus light at this point. It’s an Mi7 and I’m about to give it away. It’s a nice looking light but the UI is absolutely terrible.

It is definitely a neat little light!! I love the 2x AAA format with a clip. It makes for a handy EDC if you clip it to your front pocket like a pocket knife, AAA battery which can be found everywhere.

Hello, Lexel,

For warranty, pls refer to the " ****Klarus Flashlights - Warranty Procedure **** " in the thread: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/46649

Thanks.

Best regards!

Hello Klarus Team
Q, WHY only 400 lumen on high on the G35
Surely G35 could handle 700 lumen on high

Could you please tell me if there will be another option or release of xhp35 HI installed
In the xt2cr?
Why did you guys choose the HD? The light has a smo reflector so why not maximize the throw? You guys are able to push 1700 lumens with xhp35 HI on the xt12gt.

Any chance you hand out dome review samples of the XT2CR?

Blue I got some NW XHP35 HI E2-3C for sale, got some expiriece with modding and repair of Klarus lights, if you want me to mod it

I’m also interested in reviewing the XT2CR. I have quite a few light painter friends interested. (The XT11GT is very popular with light painting photographers).

I would if u lived in the states. Shipping would be quite expensive to ship the light to you and then have it shipped to me.
Other option would be to purchase the light and have it shipped to you and you ship it to me.
And after mods and shipping, probably be at least $40. Will make the light quite expensive.
But if it gave the light 80kcd, it’s worth it lol! But that’s not reality

I can ship a light this size for 3.7€ to USA add 2.5€ for tracking with 25€ insurance
modding it with XHP35 HI E2-3C 10€
