Hhhmmm, maybe I better order 1-2 now. Ali store says 992 available but I can't believe that - they sell one's, two's at a time, and total of 11 orders in the last 6 months. They must be quoting stock from the source (factory - or distributor), and who knows if that's legit and current.
I’ve been playing around with some other ideas for X6R builds. As it turns out I have a fondness for this light and want to build many different versions of it.
DISCLAIMER: I cannot guarantee any of this will actually work. Currently it’s all work in progress, anybody is welcome to try them. Also all credit for the boards must go to PD68 as he did all the initial work designing them.
Firstly a version with independent PWM channels for White and Red outputs. I have tweaked some firmware to fit as well. Starts on low white and short presses will increase, when at turbo short press will go back to low white. Med presses will go back from turbo all the way to low white then into the red modes, red on and then red beacon. To exit red modes long press will go back to low white or short presses will move back up to low white. Firmware
Last we have a low batt indicator LED. Idea taken from the ToyKeeper’s Ferrero_Rocher firmware. This board only has one PWM out through the FET. The 7135 channel has been replaced with the indicator LED. Firmware
Yikes, think I got one on order from the Ali store, shipped on 10/22. Tracking # shows shipped out of China today on 17track.net. USPS still knows nothing bout it.
I hope it returns. What worries me is Banggood not saying it’s out of stock or anything, but item link is dead. Reviews are still there, but light is 404.
These prices are almost as bad as A6 for $80 on Amazon. And even if I wanted to pay that kind of money, none of those places will ship to my country.
I have just sent email to Banggood customer support and Aliexpress seller, hope they respond. And if somehow Ali store gets them back in stock, it’s possible there will be some 11.11 discount.
