Laid Up After Surgery...Stimulate me!

So some may remember my first plantar fasciitis surgery in 2011. I may have posted about it. Now, after all these years, the doctor was right at NFfoot.com, and when you have one foot done, you end up with having to have the other done (I actually have plants fiibrosis and it ain’t fun!). Surgery was just happened yesterday (the 11th) and had to happen now because my amusement park isn’t open yet and I need to take this time to recover.

Well, I’ve got this out of the way, and I’ll be ready for the new year! Except now, like before, I have to stay laid up and with a freaky black cast on…shower with it…ya know…and then go for a follow-up on the 14th.

Then, three more weeks, I’m well on my way to gradually go (slowly) to regular work again–I’m a risk manager and don’t always need to be on my feet.

Entertain me! Even stories would work!

Dang. I got inserts for my shoes a year ago that seem to have headed the problem off.

Most do. Those of us like me with poor constitution in their feet do end up going beyond inserts and exercises and shots, etc. Man, I’m sore today!!!

I already posted these YouTube videos, but they are entertaining to me… :slightly_smiling_face:

if stimulation is needed, try a TENS unit.

I have a TENS unit in the closet. If I wasn’t recovering so well, I’d pull it out. Instead, I’m watching drunks get arrested…
