Indeed, my order for two cells of 26800 battery placed on 7 November is still not yet shipped. Never mind, can wait a little longer.
Thank you for sharing. During the beginning of COVID pandemic, my orders from AE (general goods) took months until arrival in Thailand, if not lost. Since then Iāve never ordered from AE again. Good to know shipment is now back to normal, but battery shipment still seems not as fast. In addition, Iām not sure but I think some cargos transit at Singapore, so it might be faster for you?
Goatvl: Indeed the efficiency of Singapore Port is remarkable. And this certainly contributes to the fast delivery of orders from AE. During this 11/11 I have bought quite a number of things (mostly because of the good discount) and have them shipped either to me in SG, or to my daughters in USA and UK.
I did the same last year and there was no problem, even during the heights of the pandemic.
Today, 12 November, one more day of the great 11/11 Sale. Have to resist many of those tempting discounts ā things that I donāt really need, but want to buy because of good price. 
Now there is no COVID-19, so we can shop happily,

Yes, the 18650 original batteries are all flat top and can be machined withbutton top or protective plates

Itās the perfect battery for an LT1, if cost isnāt an issue. 16Ah should keep it running for quite a while, only way to come close would be to use 3x 21700 in a custom body tube.

Itās the perfect battery for an LT1
And in the same vein, I think the LT1 is the perfect light for this kind of battery, as it uses them in a parallel configuration so much less chance of mishaps ā even with a protected battery, I would be wary of putting 4x4000mAh in series 
The unit price of Vapcell N40 is relatively expensive, belonging to high-end batteries
Vapcell F38 has a relatively high cost-effectiveness, with a wholesale price of $3. x

At $20.67 for 2 batteries (u$ $10.34 per battery) I donāt find them horribly expensive, everything considered ā I paid almost $7 for my MJ1s a couple of months ago.
But is Vapcell really only selling them through AliExpress? I for one hate AliExpress and avoid like hell buying anything thereā¦

Sometimes the price is very cheap. If there is a demand, make the payment and place the order as soon as possible
After some time, some distributors in the United States or other countries will sell these new battery cells

Iām currently in Chile and local battery distributors here generally suck, havenāt found a good one yet, at least for Li-Ions ā if you have a reseller or similar here, please let me know.
In the US I usually purchase from illlumn.com and other stores listed on batteries.parametrek.com ā alas, I see the N40 isnāt being listed, probably because no stores are carrying it yetā¦ @Parametrek might be interested to hear from you when you have any stores selling them.
