Hello, I’m Chris Witt and after years of being frustrated at the lack of Canadian sources for 18650s anywhere in Canada, and having to deal with either outrageous international shipping or fake cells, I’ve decided to change that. I made some big bulk cell purchases and now have hundreds of each of a variety of cells that I’m ready to start selling online at a fair price.
After talking with @BlueSwordM, and getting his contact for cells in China, I decided to go all in and start a business selling batteries and filling the gap in the Canadian market for modern, high end Li-ion cells for pack builders! So, I decided to get my Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate, along with all the packaging materials and labels for shipping large quantities of Lithium Ion cells across the country! I’ve also amassed a few hundred of some really good cells (and some coming in the next few weeks) you can see on my site right now. They are:
- EVE 50PL: (red wrapped Pre-Production, fully tested for lowest IR and self discharge) one of the highest performance 21700 cells available.
- EVE 35V: a great value 3500mah 18650 cell
- EVE 50E: an even better value 5000mah 21700 cell
- Molicell P28A: One of the best performing non tabless 18650 cells available.
- Molicell P42A: One of the best performing non tabless 21700 cells available.
I know a big part of what makes a good reseller is their transparency on safety and testing, and I plan on doing just that. I’ve already made a post on the Endless Sphere forum about my preparations with getting my TDG Certificate and minimum packaging requirements. I’ll soon be following it up with more pictures about my storage and testing setup when I have everything fully set up and ready to show off.
In the future, I’ll be adding some more High End cells from EVE and Tenpower, and I’ll also be expanding into more categories of pack building accessories and other hardware for DIY EVs, RC Hobbyists, and Makers/Inventors! Right now however, I need to start recouping some of my initial investment into all these cells! That’s why the site is the most basic looking thing Shopify has to offer.
Lastly, I’m looking for any feedback I can get, whether it’s about cells you would like to see offered, testing you’d like to see performed, or anything else I can do to boost your confidence in buying cells from me.
