I have a bright eyes white lightning head for coon hunting wanting to upgrade the Crees and possibly the driver it’s a drop in from deal extreme 5 led and a puck driver I need a colored led such as red or green that I can turn off the other four Crees and just have the one colored led to search trees with needs to be bright and have good tight spot using the drop in reflector I know I’ll need a switch also anyone have a good switch I can put in to make the head strobe like a interrupter
I just received this recently. Works surprisingly well. It throws 100 yards decently enough too.
Oh btw, it works very simply. Each time you press the tail button all the way or halfway it goes from white to green to red. Next mode memory. You want it to come on green next time just shut it off when you’re on white and so forth. Single mode, high. No blinkies.
Won’t help me I have a 5 cree led drop in that is about 800 lumens wanting brighter with the platform I have and a colored cree don’t wanna spend 200 on a head but guess I am if I can’t figure this out
you’re trying to fix but whatever it is, good luck to you. Maybe someone here can figure things out. 8)
I just threw this out there in case it could act as a marginal substitute for the colored led part.
Look up bright eyes coon hunting light on google they’ll ce up it is the white lightning head I seen a light at the state hunt yesterday that is identical except it has a switch on the light for a green cree that’s bright as well and another switch on the battery belt to strobe or be constant thought it might be cheaper to order a green or red or rgb style cree and replace one of my Crees with it and figured I’d take the q2 Crees out and put something a lot brighter in there place just tryin ya cheat a lil lol

You could just blind the sh*t out of em’, then they’ll fall outta the tree and kill themselves.
