Led tube size

Hello,
I have to change a fluorescent tube, an
Osram FM 13w/740.

I’d like to change it (if possible with a led tube), but does someone knows how to find something of the correct size ?
(I mean, I don’t understand what is the indication of size in the name ? FM ? 740 ? And then how to find something compatible ?)

Thanks

Does this help?

13W 20 5/8 Inch T2 Linear Fluorescent tube

I am sure there are others. Just search for “13W 20 5/8 Inch T2” led replacement.

Thanks for your answer,
I’m trying to find an equivalent in my country.

About your second link : is that meaning that T5 is compatible with T2 (I don’t understand tube names for the moment, I thought T2 was the connector of the tube).

Thanks

I think you are misunderstanding the “T” number. That is the tube diameter.

“Fluorescent tubes (officially known as “lamps”) come in five basic types, identified as T2, T5, T5HO, T8, and T12, and The “T” designation stands for “tubular,” and the following number refers to its diameter in 1/8-inch diameter increments.1 A T12 bulb, for example, is 12/8 inch in diameter, or 1 1/2 inches. A T2 bulb, on the other hand, is 2/8, or 1/4 inch, in diameter.”

BUT you are correct about the connector. On second look, the one in the Amazon link appears to have a different connector. Do you have a picture of the one that you are using now?

BTW. I did more searching…just for fun. I don’t find any LED replacements for that T2. It doesn’t mean that they do not make them. But maybe it does mean that they are hard to find.

Thanks for the explanation,
I wonder if I can use other size (thinking about T5) on the same “base” (I think it’s called a ballast).

For the connector, I’m trying to upload photos :

do you know what the 740 means ? (Maybe the 20 5/8 inch size) ?

I read somewhere that in EU, there a only 3 standards size for tube (the little one is 60 cm so almost 8 cm more then 20 inch 5/8).

Thanks

Maybe 740 lumens?
Do a search for Osram FM 13w/740 specifications. Though it looks like it may be rated for 770 lumens.
I found the link below to the data sheet. A PDF download.

You may not find a direct LED replacement. I did not find one.
