COB LEDs are not to be pressed like that, have you had any success running the light at all before? Is it the correct voltage/amperage and are the leads properly soldered on?
ive never ran this led before, voltage and amperage are correct, the leads are soldered on correctly from what i can tell,it does have two more -+ on the board, see attached.
i also have another one of these led’s and it does the same thing…could be be just a junky unit?
I don’t think you can reflow these COB LEDs, at least not the newer ones I have. The picture you posted shows (or I believe it shows) how the emitters are under the surface.
Some COBs I have flicker or don’t work properly if not mounted on a heatsink, but I think we can exclude that hear since they don’t work at all unless pressed.
