well, that one is sold out.
try this one:
Damn. No size 13.
Yep, that’s what I was thinking.
If I could get the Brown Nubuck in size 13 for $40 shipped, I’d be even happier than I am currently.
Tnx, but the only thing they had in 11 (only option there was 11.5) came out as 60bux.
No worries, though, hearing about 'em here I went straight to amazon and got a set for 45bux.
If they’re that good (opinions?) I might get a different color pair. They comfy?
- yes, they are comfortable from first to last.
- larger sizes (13 and over) usually sell out first.
- and the lighter colors are quick to go, too.
Damn. No size 15 either!
Nice! It’s coming up as $29.99 for me, size 12. I don’t have Prime, but standard delivery is just $6. Not bad. Woot doesn’t allow for free returns, right?
Try the main Amazon site. Size 11 in black, $39 and free shipping.
Kewl, tnx! I cancelled one of the brown ones I ordered. And black goes with everything.
Odd, though, that “taupe” and “gunsmoke” looked almost the same exact color in the main pix. Just the little hoo-ha on the back was a different color.
Tread pattern’s different, and these are “jungle mocs” instead, but might be comfier indoors, and the other pair for outside, as these are suede vs leather.
I just ordered more shoes!
I chose these…
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09W4JNNP4?th=1&psc=1
They’re $56, which is pretty reasonable for leather shoes.
Some people say they run large, others say they run small, and some say that they’re true to size.
They have free returns, just in case I don’t like them or they’re the wrong size.
I’m currently waiting for two pairs of shoes to be delivered.
If I like both pairs of shoes, I think I’m done looking at shoes for the time being.
I don’t have a shoe buying problem!
You have a shoe buying problem!
Naw, don’t feel bad. I ordered 2pr of those Merrells.
So I should be good for about 8-9yrs or so.
I hope you like your Merrell shoes!
I tried to find Merrell shoes with laces that had tread that would work for me, and everything I could find brand new was way too expensive.
I found a few used pairs on eBay at decent prices, but I don’t generally order used shoes, especially if I don’t know if they’ll fit me well or not.
Wellp, not online, but when I was at sis’s house we decided to go shopping, and I forgot what store it was, but they had a rather big shoe section, and I was just looking for something comfy yet “dressy” (ie, not sneakers/sneakdals).
There was a whole section of “comfy” shoes, and one that I liked was “USPS approved”, ie, had to have a good tread (eg, for snow), had to be comfy for walking long distances (to deliver mail, obviously), and would meet “dress” standards for the USPS uniform.
Kinda like black soft-uppers hiking boots, but not high-tops and only ankle-high like regular shoes. I still got 'em, and while I still wear sneakers/sneakdals outside for putzing around town, I got 'em for “dressier” environments.
I received these shoes from Walmart’s website (in size 12) today.

They’re easily worth the $20 I paid for them.
The tread does pick up small rocks, but I’m going to keep them and wear them anyway.
The shoes are not very warm, so I’ll wear my slippers around the house until the weather warms up.
These shoes are currently available on eBay (in different colors) in size 6.5 to 10.5 for $16
I think the shoes run about a size (or maybe half size) larger than normal because I normally wear size 13.

Oh, it is possible to put the shoes on without bending down.
The shoes will mostly stay on, but if you really want them to stay on no matter where you walk, you would need to bend down to put the heel notch on your heal.
A vast majority of sizes are sold out. Seems 12 is non-existent in all colors, across all sellers on Walmart, eBay and Amazon. There’s no photo on-line of the tread that I can see. I had to take a screenshot from their video:
I usually wear flipflops around the house (about 3 different pairs I rotate, wearing one while other two are washed). I don’t wear full shoes around the house, so something like this shoe that’s lightweight and not too warm could work. Will have to wait for a later date when stock comes back. Hopefully it’ll be on sale again.
On my web browser, size 12 is available on walmart.com
in yellow.
Yeah, yellow is too much for me. I prefer gray or darker colors. But thanks.
Oh, I agree completely.
I wouldn’t buy the yellow either.
I received these shoes today.
They look even better in person than online.
They have insoles that are probably removable, but the default insoles are nice so I put my “high arch” insoles on top of the default insoles.
The shoes fit me well, even with two pairs of insoles.
I’ll wear these around town and when I go for walks.
I don’t know if they’re better than my Reeboks yet, but the K-Swiss are very good.
I’m happy with my recent purchases of slippers, slip-on shoes, and these lace-up shoes.
I’ve never gotten this lucky when choosing footwear before, but I’m a better online shopper now compared to in the past.
