Nice……… :+1:
Thanks my friend. It’s a bit Rube Goldbergish, but it works as intended.

Sure thing. And as far as I am concerned…. “works as intended” is what counts. :+1:

In the states, the Dell Optiplex FX160 Power Supply are often available unused for under $5. One can power 2 Lii500’s simultaneously. Output is very clean based on my crude oscilloscope reading skills. Here is a link to a vendor I have purchased them from in the past . You just need to wire a 5.5x2.1 jack to them. You could swipe the jacks from an old wall wart power supply like the one that comes with the Lii-500. Just make sure to wire positive to the center terminal.
I ordered from your link. It’s purpose will be to power my security cameras. The 5 only draw 3 amps total. This should be fine.

That looks like one of the generic SMPS that I warned about above. Did you check the ripple and noise? These can end up causing premature charger death if they are very poorly designed (not to mention possible safety issues).
You can get a top-tier SMPS for almost the same price so why take the risk? (e.g. see the LITEON SMPS that I recommended in the Opus BT-C3400 thread).
I haven’t checked for ripple because I don’t own a scope, but I will say it’s been dead reliable with all my chargers for the past couple of years. Maybe I should invest in a scope. Any recommendations for less than a few hundred dollars?

This Rigol is highly rated. It can be cracked to 100 Mhz.
Rigol DS1054Z Digital Oscilloscope 50Mhz Bandwidth,4 Channels,1GSa/s Sampling Rate,24Mpts Memory Depth: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific
$349.00
It’s still a lot of money, but I don’t know of anything less expensive that’s worth buying.
