Light with a rotary knob to adjust output levels?

On my Instagram feed I saw a small rectangular light with a rotary knob to adjust brightness level. No it was not a cool fall spy, but I liked it! It wasn’t that expensive… does anyone know of any lights like this?

Maybe the Niteye Zip 20 Titanium? It look like a Cool Fall Spy

which light are you talking about? photo?

The most common rotary light is the Jetbeam RRT01. It’s not rectangular, so it’s not the light you saw, but quite a few users like it.

HDS Rotary ?

Sunwayman VR10 or VR11R ?

Not rectangular though

Since someone brought up Cool Fall, is there anything about their lights that justify the insane price tag? Nice machining isn’t enough to justify 2k-3k on a flashlight imo. If I were a millionaire I think I’d still pass.

It's not the niteye zip. It's knob was on the side, unlike the cool fall and niteye. I shoulda taken a screenshot

Fenix Apex 20?

I agree. Gouged for no reason

That's it!!!

Now I need to find one BNIB for sale. Anyone?

Yes. Fenix.

Enjoy!

I hope you share your impressions, after you receive it.

Ordering now!

Not infinitely variable, bummer.

I know...almost kinda a deal breaker for me.

fwiw, HDS and Cool Fall Spy are Not Infinitely variable either.

The Zip20 is Infinitely Variable, but unavailable.

Sucks. Ugh

Do you have rotaries with fixed modes? The 3-mode M11R is among my favorite lights. The ring itself is so much more worth than a button IMO. You’ll like this light I bet.
