HI all,
I am pleased with my Fenix HL10, which I use as a mountain hut and early morning starts headlamp for multi-day hiking trips. It is bright enough for such use, and the Low mode is low enough so as not to disturb my fellow hikers in the hut dormitories.
After slightly modifying the headband (making it no longer adjustable, but I always have the same head with me), the light + headband weigh only exactly 30g w/o battery, and less than 40g with an AAA lithium primary. It is also extremely compact: I can store it in a tiny 6x10cm (2x4") ziplock pouch.
Unfortunately this light is discontinued, almost impossible to find nowadays.
Hence my question: any suggestion for a (almost) so tiny and lightweight 1xAAA headlamp?
The L-shaped Manker E02 II is about the same size, 21g w/o battery. But the optional headband seems to be out of stock, as is the NW version.
OTOH, I know there are tiny headlamps that are coin cells operated, but I prefer to stick to the 1xAAA category because it leaves me several battery options (Alcaline, NiMH, primary lithium) and offers better runtimes.
Thanks in advance.
