I added more indexes to the multimeter table, now it is possible to select from a specific price category or a index of all meters with full current measurements (i.e. from uA to A in AC and DC with no missing ranges).
I am open for other index criteria (It is fairly easy to implements).
Remember it is possible to sort the index on any column.
HKJ, I often see in your DMM reviews the comment: “burden voltage is too high”. Please explain what “burden voltage” is, and what the consequences are when it is too high. Thanks.
Burden voltage is how many volts you loose across the meter when measuring current. Some meters can have up to 2V, this means if you have a 6V supply feeding a circuit, the circuit would only get 4 volt when you add the ammeter. This basically makes the measurement useless.
It is always the high mA range that is most problematic, especially on 6000 count meters.
The way around it is to use the A range instead and accept the lower resolution.

Looking through some youtube videos, the mobile phone app seems nicer and more useful than my Southwire one.

I need a clamp meter for measuring tailcap current. Is the UNI-T UT210D or the Mustool X1 better?
Which other brands are recommended for cheap but good clamp meters?

I understand. A comprehensive DMM review is a huge amount of work.
The hand held AN870 has very similar measurement specifications at 1/3 the price.
