Lithium-Thionyl chloride cells are NOT intended for use under even moderate loads. They are really for memory backup applications. Also, they are potentially one of the most dangerous chemistries out there if abused.
Hmm... I have abused mine a lot and haven't gotten them to do anything. So far I have done a 24 hour short and a 3 amp discharge (yes I know they aren't rated that high).

Let me check into it a little more and see how many I need. If they were for personal use I would say sure. But these are for my work and would need to compensate you somehow via work….
