Now the order has been brought into the country
Local post updated there website at 7:30 this morning saying it’s been delivered
Updated it at 7:35 saying it’s in my town and it’s in its way
This is super wierd as I was awake early this morning and it was not delivered
Sent my post service a massage speaking about this and they said it will be through my box some time today
Banggood sent me a confirmation message saying it’s been delivered
My local post are stupid to say it’s been delivered when it’s on it’s way
I’m not talking about small parcels that can be shoved through the opening in my door.
But I’ve noticed that lately larger parcels (inbound and outbound) for apparently no reason are kept for 10 or more days somewere in the bowels of PostNL.
Furthermore it is almost common knowledge that some delivery men collect their parcels, book them as being delivered, and drive them straightforward to the local postal agency. Where you can collect them yourself, if you’re lucky, and fast enough.
I’m in the USA and if I get a notification saying it’s delivered I have to check my neighbors house, on the ground, in the sewer or the school across the street before I find my package
had that happen few times, marked delivered, but it was not, next day they bring it. at first i wanted to write a complaint, but since they do bring it, i figured i wont bother, not to mention it would do absolutely no good, union workers just do not care.
My deliveries usually by Canada Post. Purulator is the one that makes me on edge. Apparently if no one’s home then if goes to their depot. Then I have to drive all the way to depot and all the way back home! Only way is if you leave a note with all the order details outside. Almost like at a bank where you have to print your name, sigh it, order number, date, written permissions.
My ups deliveries always go to the neighbor because I have a long driveway and no good place to turn around the truck. I get the notice that a package is delivered and I go to his deck to pick it up. Once he got a package that he wasn’t expecting and he left it on the deck for 2 days thinking it was for me. Flagged me down on my way up the driveway to tell me there was a package for me. He never bothered to read the label because I get so many packages delivered to his deck lol.
Most of what I order online is either delivered by the US Postal Service or by the Amazon truck..I have had zero problems with both.
I always sign up to get email alerts.
Almost all of my delivery issues have been with FedEx Ground and UPS.
Things from ebay sometimes ship by FedEX,UPS or DHL then get handed off to the USPS for delivery.This method often has an an extra 2-3 days in delivery limbo.
