Hi all, been using the AW16340 protected cell for awhile and recently decided to get more since I have bought some 16340 flashlights from the recent deals here but surprisingly I could hardly find active threads for 16340 cell which leaves me very much puzzled how are people powering up their 16340 flashlights? :weary:

I saw someone saying 16340 protected batteries are long for most 16340 flashlight, is this true?
You can use the code "BLF" to get 5% off on batteries. They are a bit longer than the unprotected Efest IMR that I have. I put a couple images below (please forgive their crappy quality; I don't have a good camera).

just my 2c but flashlight batteries don;t really need protection, except maybe from over-discharge.
and the 16340 has about 1/8 the energy of the 18650, it really isn;t big enough to be dangerous
i started with 16340, but they don;t have enough energy for what i want, and i started to get lots of free, good 18650s from laptops or whatever, and i never looked back.
