It’s been fantastic to see the flashlight world churn out amazing options in the budget range over the past 5+ years. I’m looking for a (white) weapon light now to go on a carbine, in the $50-$150 range.
I took a peak at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BJKLB1GB (I’ll probably buy it just because it’s cheap and very low profile) recently and it checks most boxes in theory (will it really stand up to abuse?)
Looks very compact. It got me thinking about what I want, which comes down to:
- Target identification at 100m
- Durable
- Compact
- Momentary/constant activation
And then the less important but still nice features:
- Replaceable 18650 battery
- Remote switch
- Lockout
- Even more throwier/brighter
What’s out there of excellent value?
