I really don’t like a holster that doesn’t cover the lens —— I’m sure they have some for camera lens etc that enclose the whole light — I have a box full of holster from all the lights over the years — they use to include one with your light
I recently purchased a few of the Convoy holsters for an L21A and an L21B and am very happy with the quality of the product. I would think their M21 holster would work well.
You really need to check the sizing, Some of the stretch ones make it hard to get larger lights in and out. Then they can bury smaller lights. Convoy sells some holsters. I have a few of them in (IIRC) three sizes). They are robust, if maybe a bit bulky.
I don’t have an M21C to try in any of them. So maybe someone else can comment on the one that would fit your M21C.
It would be nice if Simon listed the lights he makes that fit in each of the size holsters that he sells.
when i used to wear holsters for my phone, well more like a swivel clip maybe, finding the perfect one was a pain. this was flip phone days. like some would be way too tight while others too bulky. be nice if they have flashlight holsters that swivel. helps alot when sitting down!
I received this holster today.
It barely fits my flashlight, the Convoy M21C. https://www.aliexpress.com/i/2255800253418541.html
If the head of the flashlight were about 5%-10% larger, the flashlight would not fit.
Also, I don’t think a 26650 flashlight would fit because the body of the flashlight would be too large for the holster.
I attached a carabiner to the holster and to my belt, and I think it’s a decent solution.
The solution I use for holstering flashlights that are too large for pocket-carry is from Spider, which is well known to camera people.
In addition to products geared around cameras, Spider also makes the Tool Holster, designed specifically for keeping cordless power tools & heavy hand tools (hammers, ratchets, etc.) readily available on your belt. Large flashlights are just another cordless power tool! It’s not inexpensive, but we’ll worth the cost, especially if your using your setup for your flashlights, hand tools, and cordless power tools. https://spidertoolholster.com/
Spider also offers a lighter duty, less expensive option they call the Action Grip that is primarily designed & marketed for lightweight camera accessories & hand tools, but again works beautifully for flashlights. I use a variant of this system with my Astrolux FT03. Action Camera Grip + Spider Belt Clip
BTW, both systems allow your flashlights & other tools to swivel on your belt.
