Looking for a new charger

I’m looking for a new charger and I would like some advice. I currently have a ton of Ikea AA batteries, a few 18650 and have started transitioning to 21700. I would like a charger that can accommodate them all if possible. Right now I use a cheap Ikea 8 bay charger that keeps blinking red on numerous batteries that charge fine on my cheap Littokala 2 bay. The Littokala can work for the 21700’s but it is really difficult to fit them in. I would prefer the new charger have some sort of screen that would give me an indication of the battery fault and be much better quality that the cheap chargers I’ve been using. An 8 bay would be preferable because I typically have a lot of AA’s to charge but a 4 bay would be fine if it’s the best quality. Any help would be appreciated.

My charger of choice is the Vapcell S4 Plus.
It has 4 bays, it’ll charge all of your cells, and it can charge each bay at 3A max.

Vapcell S4 plus charger V3.0

Probably one of the best charger on the market ! Has many features - modes and is quite fast if you need it ! The only thing is that it can’t charge the quite new AA Li-ion 1.5V batteries !

Vapcell BL4 : New multi-chemistry 4-bay charger / analyzer, up to 26800, 32700,LiFePO4 ,Ni-MH 1.2V, batteries with USB-C. ALL in ONE charger.

New model, with a little bit less features, and it can charge the quite new AA Li-ion 1.5V batteries !

I have the Vapcell S4 Plus V3.0 almost for one year now and im very pleased with it !

I have seen it suggested elsewhere so I went ahead and purchased it on Amazon. Thanks.

Nothing at all, have a good one !

So what are the features lost in the BL4? I want to replace my BT-C3100 for one that can repair batteries that are too low so I don’t have to do the tapping of negative ends to kickstart the battery.

Im not an expert by any means, and i don’t know all the brands - models - features on the chargers in market, i had the XTAR VP2 for 10+ years, and now the Vapcell S4 Plus V3.0 for one year !

If i remember correctly the Vapcell S4 Plus V3.0 can charge on 3.7V li-ion batteries in all 4 slots up to 3A , can discharge up to 1A in slots 1 - 4 , and up to 0.5A in slots 2-3 ! Has temperature sensors in all 4 slots and shows the battery temperature of the selected slot - channel on display when you are charging !

The Vapcell BL4 can charge in the 1st slot up 3A (or 1 battery at 3A, 2 batteries at 2A, 4 batteries at 1A), can discharge in all slots at 0.5A , and hasn’t temperature sensors !
But can charge LiFePO4 3.2V, and Li-ion 1.5V batteries !

On Repair Mode both charger have the same features, suppose to be able to repair li-ion batteries even if they are down to zero voltage !
And on Ni-MH batteries they can repeatedly charge and discharge them so they can reduce the memory effect !

But i think is better to make your own research, and choose the charger that fits better on your criteria… !?

Thought I would update this thread in case anyone else is interested. I’m loving the Vapcell S4 Plus, especially the display readout and the beep notification when batteries are charged. This allows me to charge up a stash of drained AA/AAA very fast.
