Hi! Right now i am doing my electronics course final project. It basically a transmitter and a receiver for an analog signal (10Khz +/-) , a led on the emitter and a photo-diode on the receiver. The op-amps will be used as a astable multivibrator and as a transimpedance amplifier with a Rauch band pass filter connected to it.
I am looking for something better than te LM741 because the feedback that i got from students that already finished is that it is a bit prone to get noisy, very finicky and the bandwith could be better. There are thousands of other op amps and i am a bit lost, what do you guys recommend?
EDIT: In response to /u/1Davide
supply voltage? Single supply or dual? How high?
Dual 10V
Minimum speed required?
I supposed you are asking for the slew rate? Honestly i’m not really sure, but it’s going to be dealing with a audio signal, a song, voice and stuff like that
Rail-to-rail in required?
Rail-to-rail out required?
Yes to both.
Audio (low noise)
Yup
Output current?
Doesn’t need to be super high, there will be a driver circuit “doing all the work” to power a small speaker
Single, dual, quad?
Single, but if there isn’t another option dual is fine i guess
It’s to use on a bread board so DIP please.
