Hi all,
My Catapult V2 batt tube has been on the lathe and now accepts 20700 cells. Nice!
Planned next step: find 1 cell boost driver with MORE then 1,5A, spoon it in the light and replace dedomed XM L2 with XHP 35 HI.
Problem: can’t find any 1 cell boost driver going over 1,5A.
Anyone know of any ones out there?
Thanks already for any help!
Grtz

It’s been talked about on other threads. There aren’t any currently with more than 1.5 amps.
Boost drivers are rare.

Here is the latest thread on a boost driver. Runs at 3A or more. Looks like it will work with an e-switch too.

TL;DR:
I designed and made a simple constant current single-cell (e.g. 18650) XHP50/70 (6V 3A) Programmable Boost LED Driver. I’ve called this driver the GXB20. …
