Oh wow! I fell for the marketing hype. Panasonic claims that eleloops are a proprietary chemistry, and the fact the MC3000 had a separate chemistry option for it fooled me big time
The way I read it is “NITECORE UMS4 UMS2 Intelligent QC Fast Charging 4A Large Current Multi - Compatible USB Charger” means that it works with a charger that plugs into it with the right voltage, etc and not that it comes with a charger.
It says, “NITECORE UMS4 UMS2 Intelligent QC Fast Charging 4A Large Current Multi-Compatible USB Charger.” The UMS2/4 are a USB powered units, they’re advertising that as a selling point because of the wide compatibility it has with various power sources. Of course compatibility is nice but an included wall adapter would have been nicer.
I posted the literal truth—I spoke of the limitations of the device which are easily verifiable on the product page. You came to “correct” this information with the misinformation that a different wall adapter/cable would overcome the limitations I spoke of. Further, you indicated that this magic cord comes with “some UMS2 chargers” which would imply to most people that there are multiple SKUs for the UMS2 unit which they can shop for. They wouldn’t assume that you were referring to some transitory third-party listing on a Chinese marketplace. Not to mention, we still haven’t actually seen such a listing.
The reason you can choose your country on the listing is almost definitely for shipping reasons. Nitecore killed two birds with one stone by omitting the wall adapter. They saved on manufacturing costs and logistics costs since they don’t need to package multiple versions of the device.
I don’t think it is a ridiculous expectation for you to actually verify your information before contradicting what other people say.
I did verify my information before contradicting what other people said.
The charger that I linked to comes with a compatible USB charger, and which one you get depends on if you choose the AU, US, UK, or EU electrical plug.
Choosing the choices above has nothing to do with what country you're in.
There are more than four areas in the world, and this seller ships to more than four areas in the world.
You are choosing the type of electrical plug that you want.
I have looked at many UMS2 and UMS4 chargers on AliExpress, and I happen to know what I'm talking about.
I only linked to the one AE listing with the lowest price.
Like I said quite a while ago, this is all a big misunderstanding.
The UMS4 doesn't charge as quickly as the UMS2, and I think the charger that I ordered (the Vapcell S4 Plus) is better than the UMS4 (and it's almost as cheap as the UMS4 if you order it from Sofirn directly from China.)
...
Also even though HKJ said that the UMS2 charges all cells at 3A, he also said that might change with UMS2 chargers in the future.
In other words, the current UMS2 may not charge all cells at 3A.
If you were choosing a warehouse, the country or region wouldn't be abbreviated like that, and the country or region wouldn't be tied in with which charger you choose.
You keep on grasping at straws, and it's honestly pathetic.
I deleted my last comment mainly because I tracked down the current testing relating to the UMS2 charger on another forum. Not sure why you didn’t just link that in the first place… Seems like you just like arguing or something.
Your comment about the charging cables is still highly misleading for a normal user as I explained in multiple ways previously.
