Looking for free video and image hoster

To present a somewhat special mod I would like to embed a video. Have never done this before.

So I’m looking for a good free video hoster now. Would be nice if I could embed the videos here (not only the link) and if this hoster also takes my images.

I know vimeo, but this one doesn’t host images, as far as I know. And I’d like to avoid youtube.

Any recommendations?

YouTube. You can embed a thumbnail here that points to your video. That’s how I do video on my personal website.

Uh, definitely youtube.
Imgur is best for images.
I think they started doing video now too but it’s probably far more limited than youtube.
