Looking for replacement parts - small battery holder + led board.

Hello everyone,

I have a ‘terrarium’ - as in one of those glass containers with plants inside that is a closed system. In the cap, there is a led-board with battery holder and switch. It is a fairly simple circuit.

Unfortunately, 2 of the 5 leds are broken, and it was all crooked, so i decided to redo it.
I am looking for the parts needed; haven’t been able to find them anywhere.

If possible, i want to have a battery holder for 1xAA or 2x AA instead of 2xaaa. The diameter is 6.3 cm and the height is 1.6 cm

Are there small leds i could use instead of the board with leds I have now? If so, what would you guys recomment?

I have basic tools available. Soldering iron is a maybe, and i don’t have a hotplate.

If you went the 1xAA route you’d need a boost circuit because pretty much every LED will require more than 1.5V.

You could use one of these 2xAA and mount it to a plastic circle.
