Looking for Xtar 18650 2600mAh like Wallbuys'

I bought 3 Xtar 18650 2600mAh batteries in the Christmas promotion, and I’m going to buy an SRK from their CNY promotion.
I need one more identical battery, but Wallbuys’ price is 17.89 for one battery currently, so I’m looking for other sources to buy one.
It’s the newer purple battery, with a Sanyo cell inside.
Where should I get mine so that it most probably be similar to the ones I already have?
I asked Wallbuys for a better price (their regular price was about 7.5:money_mouth_face:, but I don’t know if they’ll agree.

You really would be fine running the King off of just 3 cells if you needed to. Can't recommend a good place to buy any though. :(

scaru, I know, I just want to not stress the batteries more than needed (plus the extra run time is nice).

Rather than deal with wallbuys or others (and potentially buying old cells with reduced capacity) many members here are buying recent date coded Sanyo UR18650FM from fasttech. These are 2600 mAh and have been highly rated by several members. Also, the xtar extra wrapper adds unnecessary bulk to the cell, so it wont fit into many flashlights. Besides, Xtar cells are Sanyos.

I really prefer all the batteries in a multi-cell flashlight to be the same, and I don’t want to buy 4 new batteries now.

The protected sanyos are longer and wider than the xtar…

Wallbuys replied with a very strange answer, but in the end they won’t reduce the price.
So I went ahead and ordered the SRK but now I’ll have to “gamble” on another source.
Still looking for suggestions…

aarggghh, szwholesale sell the 2pcs for 13$ + 6$ shipping. Their retail counterpart, www.qualitychinagoods.com, only has the older red Xtars.

Just noticed that EH doesn’t say it’s a Sanyo cell.
So it’s about 17$-20$ a pair on szwholesale.com or eBay.

Too ’xpensive… makes me kinda angry at Wallbuys.

theres a member in here named stevebarnhart that sells those xtars for $13 shipped. I bought 4 from him at two seperate times.
super fast shipping but im not sure if he ships out of the country.

Not as ridiculous as the Israeli Xtar retailer, but still too pricey. :~

Thanks, but I doubt they’ll give the time-limited promotion to one person.
And anyway the QCG site features the red Xtars. I don’t know if there is any real difference, but I want to match cells, so I’ll just grab some purple ones, eBay’s or SZWS’s, whichever the PayPal finger likes most.
