Due to lack of technical reviews of the LumeCube 2.0, I wrote one…
Is it really 1,500 lumens?
Does it really maintain 100% output for the entire runtime?
Does it get a little bit hot?
To find out, read the review below:

first of all, thanks for reviewing this product.
I am not a photographer or light painter or anything of that sort and wouldn’t even know this existed! The price seems acceptable if you do this for a living or can make money off of it.
However, I think this light cube is a great idea for temporary home illumination as well. A small, practical, cube shaped LED product for a home would be great if you are in sudden need to illuminate a dark corner under a stairwell, while you are carrying stuff into a dark garage, shed or similar. At a lower price point, ideally.
great product.
Thanks for the review.
Overall, seems a nice product, although the false lumen claim doesn’t say good things about the company…(if they false claim things that you can check easily, I wouldn’t trust they have put thought into more “hidden” features, such as long term durability).
I don’t like integrated batteries for durability reasons, so for me a LumeOrthohedron with an 18650 or two would be a more attractive product, but I’m not their target audience, and the square shape is probably more convenient for the drone-attached light thingy or a camera mount.
A more budget friendly version would be Ulanzi L1 for under $20.
I’ve got a Ulanzi mini-video panel light and it is pretty good value for money. The battery on the Ulanzi is very small though (1000mAh).
I use 3 Convoy S2+ (warm, neutral, and cool white) with 24mm diffusers for static illumination purposes, and I can’t see me replacing that setup for a while.
