What did you do about the driver and LED?

Astrolux MF02 Mod

So, I’ve owned an MF02 for a little while now. The problem is, it just doesn’t really impress me. It was fun when I got it, but even then it didn’t accomplish the goal I had in mind (to shine across a nearby reservoir). I was also frustrated by the awful standby drain from the original driver - it had to be physically locked out at all times. So I’ve wanted to mod the light. I’ve strongly considered the CULNM1.TG or CULPM1.TG White Flats, but I already have a pencil-beam thrower in my Jaxman Z…

I’m putting a TA 46mm FET+1+15 SRK driver in my MF02 and I got the SBT90.2 from Hank.

Sorry I don’t have any ideas about the GT driver. All you really need is something with a FET in the correct size, though. No idea what the size is for the GT. I was curious about the GT90 driver itself, but Yokiamy didn’t post any pictures of the topside of the new driver
