Ok, so i’ve decided to get a “pocketsized” trower. ( i only have flood lights) I like the neutral white tint over the cool white one, but i don’t want to sacrifice throw. Is there a noticable difference between cw and nw? I think the concept of having a small thrower kind of beats its own purpose by choosing a tint that shortens the throw. When having a small thrower you should get all the throw possible.
I’m also thinking about getting the micro as well.

Basically the longer wave length equals longer throw, or something like that, I’m no expert.

I have used 6500K in most throwers, however I get higher throw readings in the 5000K range using a light meter.

In field testing the 6500K gives a bigger Wow effect and everything it shines on appears more white with less natural color and more white reflection, less depth perception.

The 5000K gives less of a Wow effect but much better visual clarity and less white reflection, better depth perception.

In the end its mostly a matter of preference. 
Save time, get both. You’ll thank me later.
If the air’s cloudy/misty/foggy, CW will spray right back at you. WW would be best. NW somewhere in-between.
In perfectly clear air, you might get farther throw with CW (but whether/not it’s “noticeable” is another matter).
Get whatever CCT you prefer, the difference between the two is likely only on paper. A light in a tint you don’t like defeats the point of owning the light
NW otherwise, almost always, you will look at a white blanket about 50 meters away, or look at a beautiful white ray, behind which it is difficult to see …
