Got the flashlight from a friend. Put in a unknown aa size lipo,now it dosen’t work. Did work with a normal aa but not anymore. How can i fix it?

It could be a connection issue, the LED, Driver or Switch.
To rule out the switch you can remove the tailcap and use a piece of wire to connect the bottom of the battery with the un-anodized aluminum ring at the bottom of the battery tube.
If you think it’s the driver you can order one for $8:
I had a connection issue with mine and had to sand down the pill a little so the top of the battery tube contacted the driver before touching the aluminum part of the head.

I didn’t think it’s a connection problem, it worked ,just prior with a normal aa battery. I think i burned it out with the 4.2volt lipo i put in it. Was hoping there was a complete part with the led to just drop in.

To my knowledge the entire pill isn’t available for purchase.
I forgot to mention this.
I highly recommend cleaning the un-anodized aluminum at each end of the battery tube.
Those 2 small rings of aluminum is the only electrical connection between the head and tail.
Should have been OK with a lipo:

Are you using button top cells?
Some LT Tool AA versions have the brass ring around the + contact on the driver so it works mostly with button tops only. Just checking cause sometimes everything is OK, we just forget the lights are picky .
